The new Depot for the City of Campbelltown is nearing completion. Designed by Chris Maddocks from EnvironArc the $5M facility will provide a welcome addition to the Council when completed.
Project: Depot for the City of Campbelltown
Location: Campbelltown, SA
Location Challenges: The site of the old Depot was restrictive but was the most preferred. All new Depot facilities were required to be included on the site. Minimal impact on the local community was imperative, particularly with regard noise.
Design Aspects: The project involved extensive consultation with the Staff and Community. It incorporated a number of GBCA (Green Building Council of Australia) initiatives, including water use minimisation.
