Location: Strathalbyn, SA
Location Challenges: This project at Strathalbyn is on a very flat block and the client wanted the house lifted up a bit. So the house is lifted and constructed on waffle pods.
Design Aspects: The waffle pods and also the house are constructed from straw bales.
Environmental Innovation: The house has its own water storage facilities, so is 100% reliant on rainwater harvesting.
