A traditional design house at Narrung. The layout has a strong focus on family meals and entertaining with access to the pool area. A standard design was required incorporating a range of ESD and cost saving initiatives to achieve the maximum value for the investment. The cultural facility respects the indigenous population of the area. It also has many features that embrace the bush location, but that are in accordance with the necessary requirements for building in high fire risk area. The feasibility study is detailed and extensive and encompasses as many elements as possible associated with Recreational and Swimming Centres. This house is one of a number of homes designed for Kangaroo Island. This particular home has some unique interior design features, with an open space plan to take advantage of the stunning views. The new Ambluance Station for Port Adelaide is an innovative design incorporating training facilities as well as the station inside a large shed. Home sited on the bend of the River Angas with distinctive concrete feature block facade. A straw bale house in Strathalbyn is raised on straw waffle pods. |
