11 November, 2011 – Even more construction photos from Whyalla Public Library

The reception and checkout counters are being put in and the construction is starting to reach its final stages. From the new photos you can see and imagine what the internal spaces will be like when this new addition to the public services in Whyalla is finally finished.

20th July, 2011 – New photos from the construction of Whyalla Public Library.

Construction is advancing and we can see the building take shape. The sunshades on the facade have already been assembled and attached and it becomes clear from the internal photos that this will be a pleasant space.

11th April, 2011 – Geoff Jarvis, the EnvironArc Project Manager for the new Whyalla Public Library, advises that this exciting new high profile project is nearing “lock-up”. Geoff praised Barry Porter, the site manager for WCK Constructions, for his outstanding efforts.

*UPDATE*

This three level house had a number of challenges with it. An easement running through the block had to be negotiated. This in conjuction with a challenging budget made for some heavy thinking ,hard work and very close liaison with the client.

In the end this house was completed in October 2011 and ober the three levels that it spans takes great pride and position on its site. The use of traditionally Australian materials makes this house sit in the landscape as if it was meant to be there, which (of course) it is.

Our residential designer has pulled off a stunning piece of architecture and we wish our clients all the best in their new home.

/ EnvironArc

EnvironArc’s residential designer Daniel Petros is behind this house at Seaview Downs that are now starting to materialise.

Seeing the framework a few weeks ago we can now see how the building takes shape and with a good selection of materials it looks to be a very beautiful house when completed. Stay tuned for more images.

UPDATE:

The recently opened new airport terminal at Coober Pedy designed and Project Managed by Geoff Jarvis at EnvironArc receives Ministerial and Tourism SA Praise.

Some of the photos in the slideshow are taken from the airport CCTV camera monitoring construction. A number of photos taken on the 23 February 2010 show the terminal floor area following pouring of the slab which is covered in water to assist curing (see slideshow below).
