Flying the flag for best practice global considerations. By incorporating a host of innovative environmental sustainable design features, The City of Whyalla and EnvironArc Design have ensured that this new community resource is appropriate for a “greener” future. EnvironArc are pleased to announce their appointment to conduct an investigation into and a preparation of the construction of a Solar Array system for the Alexandrina Council.
More information to follow… EnvironArc are currently doing a number of small projects for St.Martins Aged Care Facility. All though individually small they will help St.Martins to provide an enhanced level of care and service for both visitors and residents. EnvironArc are proud to assist in this task. *UPDATE* This three level house had a number of challenges with it. An easement running through the block had to be negotiated. This in conjuction with a challenging budget made for some heavy thinking ,hard work and very close liaison with the client. In the end this house was completed in October 2011 and ober the three Continue reading *UPDATE* Mitchell House The primary challenge of this project was to negotiate spatial restrictions whilst at the same time ensure that the client achieved access to the first floor of this old Town Hall. Upgrading the stair in a foyer that had little room for modifications was also an issue. In 2009 the District Council of Coober Pedy commissioned EnvironArc Design Pty Ltd to undertake the design process for construction of the new terminal with a budget of $1.3m Alterations and additions to this 100 year-old farm house at Narrung on Lake Albert needed to preserve its traditional character and ambience .. The design solution provides a family house having large formal and informal living spaces directly linked to a private alfresco area and providing separation of living and sleeping areas all within a compact footprint. When the local Council decided to upgrade the facility, they went to well-known architectural firm EnvironArc Design for ideas on how to make it environmentally friendly, long lasting and innovative. Innovative design for an adult education facility in Sudan, Africa will offer a range of training opportunities to the region. |
